TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
STRUCTURE
Windows are built with wood-ABS-aluminium profiles line Granduca HP thermal cut. Width fix frame is 68 mm, while French window and window door measures 93 mm. Wood profile of fix frame will be 22 mm or 40 mm. All profiles both frame and door, will built by external aluminium profiles, intermediate in ABS tubular for guaranteeing a good mechanical resistance and a good alignment for gasket at 45° and 90°. External profile assembly in aluminium and intermediate in ABS will be made thanks to mechanic rolling for guaranteeing a better resistance to flowing.
ALUMINIUM
External profiles will realised with aluminium EN AW 6060-T6, with thickness and dimensions certified by UNI EN 12020-2:2008 regulation. These profiles must be realised through anodized finish or painted in RAL colours, metalized and wood effect. The connection between aluminium profiles and ABS profiles will be realized through a special place useful to contain joint created on ABS profile.
ABS (Acrilonitrile Butadiene Stirene)
Intermediate insulation profile will realised in ABS, which is the most precious mixture between resin and elastomer. Certified by EN 14024 regulation, with thickness and dimensions certified by ISO 3302 regulation. ABS is a copolymer derived from styrene polymerized, then it could be considered as a thermo-polymer. Proportions could change from 15% to 35% of acrilonitile, from 5% to 30% butadiene and from 40% and 60% styrene. It’s recyclable and it has perfect technical properties: it’s a light and rigid material. Acrilonitrile guarantees rigidness and hardness, but butadiene guarantees high resistance to push.
WOOD
Solid wood profiles will be realised with selected first quality materials with drying treated with dyes resistant to light and ultraviolet rays and protected by specific antiseptic. Finish is made with polyurethane opacifying products. Angle wood gaskets will realised through 45° cut, glued with water repellents and steel staples for hard woods, that is plugs swallowtail for soft woods. Alternatively there are junctions with wood 90° cut, glued with water-repellent steel soul for strengthening junction.
ACCESSORIES
Angle junctions that are 45° in aluminium-ABS will be realised thanks to little squares in aluminium, characterized by a canal for a correct glue distribution, polyurethane with 2 components) over whole junction. On frame there is a little square of alignment, while door is characterized by a wing, a little square for internal alignment. T junctions will be made with steel screws, self-tapping system will expect zinc-coated ironmongery use, installed directly on ABS profile. Closing of second door, will be realised with rob lever. Movement and closing systems would be chosen as dimensions ( base and height) and weight. Hinges will have a capacity of 100 kg for door ( glass included) and will be recordable according to 3 orthogonal axis. Hinge covers will be available in colours: lucid bras, satin silver, white, ivory, satin gold or brown.
HOLDING, DRAINAGE AND VENTILATION
Windows will be characterized by an holding system known as open joint, guaranteed by a central gasket with a direct coupler on frame level in 2 points. While door mobile profile, creates pressure on central gasket. On all frames, fixed and that can be opened, will be made necessary works for guaranteeing water drainage round glasses, and rapid humidity condensation in containment double-glazing area. Door ventilation in containment area will be made through slots of inclined quarries. Drainage slots toward outside are stagger 20/50mm in relation to inclined quarry slots. Frame ventilation will be made through slots that will allow controlled water unloading. Externally, framing slots are protected by special cover for slots, colours black or white. While in fixed glass stop frame, airing slots of containment double-glazing area allow humidity unloading. Combination between aluminium- external ABS and internal wood, will be made through an insulating element ( blocking plug in nylon fixed without screws) that allows dilatation of 2 materials.
GUARNIZIONI
Window has different gasket typologies each of them have its function and characteristics. External gasket frame-door used for increasing sound and thermal insulation, will be realised in EPDM. It will be inserted in profile in a continuous way, only with a cut junction. Connection base in EPDM compact will be black, while the other part will be realised in EPDM expanded in colours black, brown and white. External glass stop gasket door-glass, that spaces out stopping 0f 4mm from aluminium frame, will be realised in EPDM. It will be put in profile continuously with a only junction cut. Connection to profile will be in EPDM compact black, besides, gasket extension will be planned for improving product’s insulation. While at sight part will be in EPDM expanded, in colours black, brown and white. Open joint central gasket will be realised in compact ELAPRENE ( thermoplastic elastomer ) and will be in colours black, brown and white. Central gasket’s connection on frame will occur in 2 points. Alveolate structure will be planned for improving thermal aspect and to hide fixing screws. Insulation gasket will be realised in compact EPDM , that externally it’s moved back for facilitating sealing. Central gasket is 5,2 mm and its external part is planned in order to cover connection leak between aluminium and ABS. Insulation gasket will be realised in compact EPDM rear for facilitating sealing. Internal gasket between door-frame posed into wood frame, it’s used for increasing sound, thermal insulation and will be realised in EPDM. Profile connection base will be in compact EPDM black, while at sight part will be in EPDM expanded, in colours black, brown and white.
GLASSES
Profiles guarantee introduction of double-glazing with thickness max 35mm. Window with double-glazing 5-25-BE4 and argo gas and new thermal spacer. French window with double-glazing 4BE-25-6/7 and argo gas and new thermal spacer.
Wood profiles would be modelled for supporting internal glass stop gasket in PVC ( brown, black, white, ivory, transparent) that consent a good pressure between double-glazing and profile. Double-glazing supports will be realised with a length of 100 mm planned in order to don’t prevent correct drainage and ventilation.
