TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

STRUCTURE

Windows will be built with aluminium-ABS-aluminium profiles, line Marchese HP thermal cut.
Frame width is 68 mm, while French window and window’s door measures 93 mm. Aluminium frame profile could be 22 mm. All profiles both frame and door, will be built from external aluminium profiles, intermediates in ABS also in insulation area, for guaranteeing a good mechanic resistance and a good alignment for 45° and 90° junctions. Aluminium external profiles assembly and intermediates in ABS will be made through a mechanic resistance to flowing.

ALUMINIUM

External profiles are realised in aluminium EN AW 6060-T6, with thickness and dimensional tolerance according to UNI EN 12020-2:2008 regulation. Profiles are treated by anodized finish, or painted with RAL colours or effect wood colours. The connection between aluminium profile and ABS profile is realised by suitable place useful for giving hospitality to ABS profile. Assembly of aluminium external profiles and intermediate in ABS is made through a mechanic rolling, for guaranteeing a better resistance to running.

ABS (Acrilonitrile Butadiene Stirene)

Intermediate insulation profile will realised in ABS, which is the most precious mixture between resin and elastomer. Certified by EN 14024 regulation, with thickness and dimensions certified by ISO 3302 regulation. ABS is a copolymer derived from styrene polymerized, then it could be considered as a thermo-polymer. Proportions could change from 15% to 35% of acrilonitile, from 5% to 30% butadiene and from 40% and 60% styrene. It’s recyclable and it has perfect technical properties: it’s a light and rigid material. Acrilonitrile guarantees rigidness and hardness, but butadiene guarantees high resistance to push.

ACCESSORI

Angle 45° junctions in aluminium –ABS will be made through little squares characterized by a canal for a correct glue distribution (polyurethane with 2 components) over all junction. Frame is characterized by a solid square, while door is characterized by a little square of internal alignment. T junctions will be made with steel screws. The system is characterized by the use of zinc-coated ironmongery, installed directly on ABS profile. Second door closing, could be realised with lever staff. Movement and closing systems must be chosen on the basis of dimensions (base and height) and of weight. Hinges would have a weight of 100 kg for door (glass included) and they will be recordable according to 3 orthogonal axis. Hinges covers will be available in colours: lucid brass, satin silver, white, ivory, satin gold or brown.

HOLDING, DRAINAGE AND VENTILATION

Windows will be characterized by an holding system knows as open joint, guaranteed by a central gasket with direct connection on frame in 2 points. While, the particular profile drawing of mobile door, creates pressure on central washer. On all frames, fixed and that can be open, will be made necessary works in order to guarantee water drainage round glasses and rapid humidity compensation in air. Aluminium-ABS frame profiles will have transversal walls slightly inclined for facilitating water drainage towards outside. Door ventilation inside double-glazing must be made through drainage slots that allow humidity unloading. Drainage slots opened toward outside are deflected 20-50 mm in comparison to slots presents in inclined quarry. Frame ventilation will be made by that will allow water unloading. Outside, framing slots are protected by slot covers in colours black or white. The connection between external aluminium-ABS and internal aluminium will occur through insulation element (blocking plug in nylon fixed without screws) and it allows a dilatation of 2 materials.

GASKETS

Window has different types of gaskets each of them with its functions and characteristics.
External gasket frame-door used for increasing sound and thermal insulation will be realised in EPDM. It will be inserted in profile in a continuous way, with only one cut junction. Connection base to profile in compact EPDM will be in colour black, while the holding part will be realised with EPDM expanded, in colours black, brown and white.
External glass stop gasket door-glass, that spaces out plugging 4mm from aluminium frame, it will be realised in EPDM. It will be inserted in profile in a continuous way, with only one cut junction. Connection base to profile in EPDM will be in colours black and also gasket prolongation will be planned for improving thermal insulation. While, holding part will be in EPDM expanded, in colours black, brown and white. The material used do not create visual impediment.
Central holding open joint gasket, will be realised in compact ELAPRENE ( elastomer thermoplastic thermal solderable) and will be available in colours black, brown and white. Central gasket connection on frame will occur in 2 points. Alveolate structure will be planned for improving thermal holding and to hide fixing screws inside walls.
Central gasket is 5,2 mm and this measure determines a more work tolerance and it is planned for covering connection between aluminium and ABS.
Insulation gasket will be realised in compact EPDM, slightly for facilitating sealing.
Internal gasket between door-frame, posed into wood frame it’s realized for increasing sound and thermal insulation and it will be realised in EPDM. Connection base to profile will be in compact EPDM in colours black, while holding part will be in EPDM expanded, in colours black, brown and white.

GLASSES

Profiles will guarantee a double-glazing insertion with thickness max 35 mm. Window with double-glazing 5-25-BE4 with argo gas and new thermal spacer. French window with double-glazing 4BE-25-6/7 and argo gas and new thermal spacer. Aluminium door profiles would be modelled for supporting internal glass stop gasket in PVC ( brown, black, ivory, transparent), it allows to have an optimal pressure between double-glazing and profile. Connection for double-glazing will be realized with a length of 100 mm planned for not preventing correct drainage and ventilation.
